Mas Huni - a traditional Maldivian breakfast my host family taught me a few years ago. Although traditionally a breakfast, it serves as a great snack too!
Ingredients
2 5-oz. can tuna packed with olive oil, drained and flaked
1/4 red onion, finely chopped
1/2 tomato, finely chopped
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp hot pepper sauce
1/2 lime juice
1/2 cup shredded coconut, unsweetened
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Mix together ingredients in a medium sized bowl, thoroughly, to make sure the spices and coconut blend well with the tuna.
Check taste and add more hot pepper sauce if you'd like it more chili
Cook paratha on the stove top as directed on packaging, and serve together.
